My Life in Advertising poster will be like those shown in the examples of type creating an image of someone's face. Mine will be a bit different where the entire page will be filled with text and I will use varying colors to differentiate an image of myself. All of the text will be of the advice I have been given in order to make it big as an advertising creative. This is very important to me because this is a transitional period of my life (student –> working creative). All of the advice I have been given has been helpful, although extensive and sometimes cliche. The best I've received is to have no fear and shoot for the stars, as cheesy as it may sound. I feel as though this describes me as a person because I continually seek advice from others. I believe that people and their third-party, objective perspectives offer the best solutions. I also seek criticism as a person and for my work all the time. I feel as though there is always room for change and that it's important to challenge myself. I have also been attending numerous amounts of networking and speaker events, hoping to network and make connections when I graduate. This literally will be a mark of "my life in advertising", meaning the time period I become an advertising creative. This piece will describe me as a person in this period of my life.

This is what I've come up with so far. I am not entirely sure of the color scheme nor am I sure of the image. I feel like it may be too abstract and maybe even too pop-art ish, but I kind of enjoy the effect. I just don't know how it relates to my concept and text. I wonder what I can do to make the idea and the imagery connect more.
I also did a horizontal portrait and tried out a different color scheme.
I like the vertical one, but i would make the letting tighter, type smaller/vary! but im really really impressed with it!
