For this project I wanted to do something with racing, and somehow relating to me. I race go-carts but my family and friends race as well. Sprint Car Racing, or racing in general that is, has been in family for years and years. I grew up at the racetrack, and was literally gone every weekend from march till october at the races. I would like to further my career when I graduate in the racing industry somehow. Like I said in class previously, Rockstar is probably one of my favorite and most respectful sponsors of racing. Not only would I kill for them to sponsor me, but they sponsor my favorite driver.
For these final pieces, I created a few different things. I was not sure what direction to take, and I am not completely satisfied with any of them-hence why I created so many variations. The poem on the racing pieces, is the poem that we hear every night before the races begin. Something that I have learned to hold dear to my heart and appreciate with every word.
