NM-My LIfe in Ad Idea
For this project I was thinking of creating a poster about my job as a tutor. Twice a week I go to San Miguel Back of the Yards and read with middle school children for an hour and for the rest of the time I work for grad support. I basically tutor students who are in high school and graduated from San Miguel. For the project I would create a promotional poster that shows the importance of the students education and how important it is to have those types of after school programs and assistance.

I think that's a really interesting idea to expand on.. it brings up conversation about education and children and involvement. To clarify... you are creating a poster to advertise about these after school programs in which you are involved .. does the ad call for more programs? more volunteers? more children to join these programs? Not really sure what approach you want to take here but I can see this a brightly colored and illustrated piece.
